During the Chapter’s 2019 – 2020 year we followed the guidelines of the National Awards Criteria. This helped us better our Chapter and helped our industry. We held regular board meetings to keep our Chapter moving forward, provided five scholarships to deserving students after holding a very successful Trivia Night to fund our scholarship program, started an endowment at Rankin Technical School, provided monthly meetings of interest to our community, and awarded a Chapter Estimator of the Year to Jason Emerick (Hallmark Stone) for his multiple contributions to the Chapter. (Jason serves as our social media guru for website, blogs, EventBrite meeting announcements, etc. and he was our representative at the ASPE Central Region Conferences.) We retained over 90% of our membership from the previous year and added new members for the Award year as well as adding the five scholarship winners to our Chapter’s roster.
We are proud to have received the second highest award for our efforts to keep our Chapter involved with the community and benefitting our industry.
In addition to our Chapter Silver Award, one of our longstanding members, Frank Kutilek, FCPE was presented with the President’s Award from the National ASPE office. Frank has been very active for over 40 years in ASPE (locally and nationally) and has received the President’s Award three times – 2007, 2009 and 2020.

This year we are holding virtual monthly meetings and hope you will join our award winning Chapter to become involved in your profession and our industry.
